We work with talented artists of all ages and cultures to help our authors and us produce engaging visual children's stories. Artists include:

You do NOT need a college degree or previous experience. You just need to create attractive, child-friendly artwork. Much of the artwork for children's books is simple and engaging and we typically allow a high degree of creative freedom so you can express your style and be recognized for your work.

Want to create your own story? We can find editors and narrators so you can publish internationally on Storytime and earn more for your work.

*Children must have the consent of their parents or legal guardian to become a Storyteller, earn money as a Storyteller and be presented on the Storytime platform and other Storytime channels.

Your art is an expression of yourself, including your desire to support our educational and cultural missions to help people and communities around the world. People should know that!

We proudly include full attribution for your work on every story page and present your art on social media so you gain professional recognition in your community. In addition, we offer a free Storyteller profile page with your picture, bio and relevant web links so you can gain more fans and potentially clients!*

*We respect your privacy and offer the option to be an anonymous Storyteller. The ability to create a profile, add individual elements to your profile and have your work shared on social media and other channels is optional.

We like to work with great people we can trust and we offer continuous work opportunities and bonuses to our long-term Storyteller partners as we grow and develop more content. We typically produce at least 10 new stories per language every month.

For a limited time, we offer artists the opportunity to earn more income long-term through attractive royalties above industry standards. Every time somebody reads a story with your artwork, you will earn $0.0015 for 3 years after its publication. Artwork stays the same in all languages, which means that you earn every time somebody reads a story with your artwork in any language.

For example: Maria designs artwork for 5 stories and each story is translated into 10 languages. 1,000 children read the story every month in each language. Maria earns $75 monthly ($900yearly). After 3 years, Sofia has earned $2,700 ($540 per story).

If you prefer to earn money faster, we typically offer $5 - $10 per story narration. You can also earn extra by first translating a story into your language before your narrate. Complete payment is sent after completion and acceptance of the narrations. 

With a hybrid structure, we combine the royalty and fixed rate structures so you can earn faster short-term and more money long-term.

For example: Sofia narrates 10 stories. She prefers to earn a 50% royalty at $0.0025 and 50% fixed-rate at $5. After completion, Sofia earns $50 in fixed-rate earnings. When the stories are published, 1,000 children read them every month and Sofia earns $25 monthly ($300 yearly). After 3 years, Sofia has earned an extra $90 per story.

Many people, students and organizations offer to share their talents for free to promote their culture or build their portfolio. We are grateful for the passion and generosity of volunteers and recognize them with a special badge on their profile pictures.
